Honouring a Distinguished Public Servant
The Ministry of Lands, Survey, Spatial Planning, and Natural Resources extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Siale Eti Teumohenga as he retires from the Public Service.
On the 5 June 2026, together with the Hon. Minister, Dr. Taniela Fusimalohi, the Ministry acknowledged and celebrated Mr. Teumohenga’s dedicated service, commitment, and valuable contributions throughout his years of service to the Ministry and the people of Tonga.
Representing the Government and Cabinet, Hon. Dr. Taniela Fusimalohi conveyed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Teumohenga for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the Ministry and the Public Service throughout his career.
Mr. Teumohenga first served with the Ministry from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, he continued his contribution through the EU-SUEM Project, which was administered under the Ministry. Following his service with the project, he pursued other opportunities before returning to the Ministry in August 2025, where he continued to serve faithfully until his retirement in June 2026.
Throughout his career, Mr. Teumohenga demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and a strong sense of public duty. His knowledge, experience, and contributions have been highly valued by colleagues and the Ministry alike.
On behalf of the Cabinet, the Hon. Minister, the Chief Executive Officer, Management, and all staff of the Ministry, we express our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Teumohenga for his years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the development of Tonga.
We wish him and his family every success, good health, and happiness in this new chapter of life. May his retirement be filled with joy, fulfillment, and many blessings.
