🎉 Celebrating a Remarkable Career – Happy Retirement, Mr. Siaosi Mafi! 🎉
On 10 July 2026, the Ministry proudly bids farewell to Mr. Siaosi Mafi as he retires from the Public Service after an outstanding 38 years of dedicated service.
Mr. Mafi began his journey with the Ministry on 22 February 1988 as a Cadet Draughtsman. Through his commitment, professionalism, and unwavering dedication, he steadily progressed through the ranks, culminating in his appointment as Geodetic Surveyor on 11 April 2016.
In recognition of his exceptional leadership, technical expertise in surveying, and strong management skills, Mr. Mafi was entrusted with the role of Acting Chief Surveyor from February 2024 until his retirement. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated excellence, integrity, and a deep commitment to serving the people of Tonga.
The Ministry extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mafi for his many years of loyal and distinguished service. His invaluable contributions have helped strengthen the Ministry and have left a lasting impact on the surveying profession and the development of Tonga.
As he embarks on this new chapter of life, we wish Mr. Mafi good health, happiness, and many blessings in his well-earned retirement. May this next journey be filled with joy, time with loved ones, and continued success in all that lies ahead.
